French Higher Education and Research Team in Kenya !

On Thursday 4th September, the French Higher Education a Research Team in Kenya reunited for a meeting at IFRA-Nairobi.
It was the opportunity to discuss common projects and work on synergies and collaboration to deepen our cooperation with Kenya.
This team is composed of different institutions
- French embassy in Kenya
- Campus France Kenya
- French research institutes which have a regional office in Nairobi :
- Institut Français de Recherches en Afrique (IFRA), in Kenya since 1974
- Centre International de Recherche en Agronomie pour le Développement (CIRAD), in Kenya since 2004
- Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD), in Kenya since 1992
- Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), in Kenya since 2024
- Agence Française de Développement
- Sciences Po, since 2019
- Mr. Marc Zolver, French international Technical Expert, who is employed by Expertise France to work at the University of Nairobi for the implementation of the Science and Engineering Complex project financed by the Agence Française de Développement.
Each institutions is working on different fields to assure a developping and prosperous cooperation between France and Kenya on higher education and research !
