2025/2026 : scholarships for students of the University of Nairobi
For the academic year 2025/2026, many students from the University of Nairobi will receive scholarships either from the French embassy in Kenya or from Erasmus+ to study in France.
Eight of them will do an exchange semester in a French engineering school :
Four to Centrale Supélec thanks to scholarships from the French embassy
Four to Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and Chimie Paris Tech thanks to Erasmus+
Two of them will pursue a full master in engineering in France :
John Mambo at Grenoble INP and Sydney Nzunguli at Centrale Supélec
Three lecturers/researchers will also do scientific researches in France next Fall :
Prof. Catherine Kunyanga at CIRAD
Dr. Bridget Mutuma at CNRS
and Dr. Gladys Bichanga at Université Paris-Saclay
Finally, three other students will do internships in France :
Stephen Muindi and Philis Juma will go to a French hospital to do an observation internship
And Gitene Nyang’au will do an internship at the Laboratoire de Physique Nucléaire et de Hautes Energies
