
CATERING, TEACHING, UNIVERSITY SERVICES: WHAT IS CHANGING FOR STUDENTS
Since the beginning of February, following the latest measures taken by the French government to fight against student insecurity, students can eat their 1 euro meal in university restaurants, study in their establishment one day a week while continuing to study as well as access administrative and social services.
Reopening of university restaurants
Since Monday, February 8, 2021, CROUS has been organizing itself to gradually reopen the university restaurants. Students can resume their meals indoors, on-premises adapted to strict compliance with current health measures (limitation of reception capacity, social distance, wearing a mask, etc.). These meals continue to be offered as take-out.
The 1 euro meal for students
All students, including international students, can benefit from two meals a day for one euro in university restaurants. These meals include; hot “homemade” dishes, offer the guarantee of strict hygiene, product quality, and balanced food at very low prices. They are offered in one of the 400 points of sale throughout France. To benefit from it, all you need is an active izly account.
Resumption of face-to-face lessons
Since the beginning of February 2021, students have been allowed to return to their training establishment to follow lessons one day a week. This concerns all students who wish, regardless of their level of study. Higher education establishments are currently organizing themselves to welcome their students in compliance with the health measures in force.
University services open to students
Despite the exceptional situation linked to the health crisis, many services remain accessible to students:

The administrative services and the libraries remain open and continue to welcome students, by appointment;

Some rooms equipped with computer equipment and academic libraries offer students who need the necessary equipment to track distance learning. Reception is also by appointment;

The social services of the CROUS and the university health services remain fully accessible, in particular for the psychological support of students.
